Milestone 2022 Round Up!
What an exciting year we’ve had here at Milestone Transport Planning, finishing the year with our Southern team moving to our new purpose designed home in Fleet. The new offices will see us be able to expand our team in the South, build on our already successful year and look forward to an exciting 2023. The Northern team have grown in numbers and have become a team we are hugely proud of, being shortlisted for three awards at the Annual CIHT Awards and overseeing huge public facing projects such as the Gateshead Riverside Park, working alongside Gateshead Council and Colour Urban Design.
Our Design team has grown, welcoming Jack, Hameed and Anna, with the planning teams also welcoming Sam, Joe and Adam. We are looking forward to a strong united team moving forward, expanding further and building on our successes.
Milestone have always loved to reward and support those in the team, who’ve demonstrated exceptional performance and, this year has been no different, with the key promotions of Toby Gosden to company Director, Sarah Disley and Gary Clark to Associate Directors. We’ve also invested heavily in the team, with numerous training courses attended across the country. We will continue to invest in our Employees throughout 2023, always striving for self-development and progress.
During 2022, MTP have been proud to donate over £28,975 to charitable causes, such as Hampshire Storehouse, which deliver food to those in need locally, Supporting the Ukraine Crisis, with contributions towards the purchase, of a van that was used to deliver vital supplies, as well as donations to food banks in Newcastle, helping those struggling this Christmas.
We celebrated our successes with an away day, rewarding the team for all their hard work at Slaley Hall, Northumberland, where we were able to have fun on Segway’s and Go-karts. It was great to have everyone together, and we’ve already began to plan our next event for April next year, focusing on Communication and Team Building again.
In Summary, we’ve had a fantastic year, working with over 75 different clients, on over 160 new projects and several hundred existing ones, and seeing our profits grow by 20%. We have undoubtedly had a hugely successful year, and that’s thanks to the ongoing support of our clients and the amazing team we have here. Our focus has always been on each other and our clients, we are so fortunate to work together, supporting each other and building a MTP we can all be proud of.
