The project I enjoyed most this year involved assessing the suitability of 6 different streets in South-West London for the installation of Electric Vehicle Charging Points. I was required to review and survey each site, undertaking a study of the parking stress and individual characteristics of each street. The results would inform the decision process in how to distribute the funds for the electric vehicle points. I am proud of this project because it involved such a unique and evolving area of highways planning. Our team managed to send reports in a quick timeframe and, based on our studies, 5 of the 6 streets were then deemed acceptable for EVCP installation.
