Project: DHL South Tyneside
Milestone Transport Planning worked on the redevelopment of this former waste collection site in South Tyneside into a logistics warehouse for the delivery firm, DHL. As part of this commission, we advised on the layout of the site, including carrying out swept path analyses, before completing a Transport Statement to demonstrate that the change in operator would not lead to a significant negative impact on the local highway network. We are pleased to see the site coming forward and look forward to it opening later this year.
