Milestone has developed plans for the re-configuration of the Romford Brewery bus station from concept, through the planning process and detailed design with Technical Approval granted in March 2016. The new bus station on the Romford Ring-Road will incorporate dual-lane operation and re-modelled traffic signals integrating MOVA technology. This scheme has involved detailed consultation with the Highway Authority and Transport for London as bus station and signal operators. The new bus station will provide improved facilities and capacity for the bus interchange but also rationalises space within Romford Brewery Shopping Centre and car park, unlocking commercial development potential for our client TH Real Estate. This was a great outcome for our client.
