MTP have been instructed by HORIBA MIRA Ltd since 2010 on the delivery of the long-term master plan for the creation of a world-leading Automotive Research facility at MIRA Technology Park. Since the outset of the project, MTP have provided comprehensive advice from feasibility studies, through the preparation of material required to support a series of outline and detailed planning application as well as highway design services and client support through the construction of on and off-site infrastructure.
MTP have provided a key supporting role to successful Central Government Regional Growth Fund and Local Infrastructure Fund bids that have delivered in excess of £20 million of highway and sustainable transport infrastructure to support the proposed development. MTP have partnered closely with the Highways England, Leicestershire and Warwickshire County Councils, Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council and North Warwickshire Borough Council to ensure the requisite approvals, S106 and S278 Agreements are in place to deliver the infrastructure works that have been implemented. Work on the delivery of the long-term master plan continues.
