MTP have played a key role in proposals to develop the Ark Pioneer Academy at the former Underhill Stadium site in Barnet. The school will provide 1,200 Secondary School and Sixth Form places to address vital educational need in the borough. Consultation with local residents and Barnet Council has been key in developing a robust and deliverable Travel Plan for the site, as well as providing innovative highway design solutions to increase highway capacity and pedestrian crossing facilities at the key interchange of the A1000, Underhill and Fairfield Way. The Academy scheme was granted full Planning Permission in March 2018.
